NESweeper

NESweeper is a remake of the famous game Minesweeper, made for the NES. The most famous version of Minesweeper in the Windows XP one, that’s why NESweeper is very inspired by this version.

What is Minesweeper?

Minesweeper is a logic game where mines are hidden in a grid of squares. The objective is to open all safe squares as fast as you can. But don't discover a mine, or else you'll explode!

Controls:

• Enter: start the game / restart it after a win or a loss (Start button)
• Spacebar: return to main menu (Select button)
• X: discover the tile (must be unflaged) (B button)
• W: flag/unflag the tile (A button)
• Arrows: move the cursor (D-pad)

You can play the game on this page thanks to the emulator jsnes (I modified it so the colors match Mesen's ones).

If you prefer, you can download the rom below and play it on a desktop emulator like Mesen!

The game is still under development and it's my first time coding a game in assembly language, so sadly you'll encounter a lot of bugs.
